Spot Removal Tool Lightroom Classic : Generative Remove
Adobe Lightroom has introduced a new feature called Generative Remove, powered by Adobe Firefly’s generative AI technology.
This tool allows you to easily remove unwanted objects and distractions from your photos.
Here’s a quick guide on how to use it:
- Access the Remove Tool: In the Develop module, click on the Remove icon (formerly the Healing Tool).
- Enable Generative AI: Make sure the Generative AI option is active by toggling it on.
- Brush Over the Area: Use the brush to highlight the object or area you want to remove. Adjust the brush size and opacity for precision.
- Refine Your Selection: Use the Add or Subtract options to refine your selection if needed.
- Apply and Choose Variations: Click Apply, and Lightroom will generate three different variations for you to choose from. You can also refresh to get new variations 1 2 3.
This feature is particularly useful for removing large objects or distractions, such as vehicles, signboards, or even people, from complex backgrounds 1 2.
