I've recently upgraded one of my Windows desktop systems running with Lightroom Classic CC (Version 7.5) from Lightroom 6.14 (desktop perpetual licence).
Note: Lightroom Classic CC is a desktop-focused photo management and post-processing service (not on the cloud), but with monthly payment plan / subscription licence.
Herewith a few images that I've started processing in Lightroom 6.14 and after the catalog migration to Classic CC they were immediately available on the new filmstrip for additional fine-tuning.
All my Lightroom 6 import / export settings were also migrated at the same time.

Photoshop Lightroom 6 : Last Perpetual Update for Lightroom
As with Lightroom 5.7 and Lightroom 6, the Show Focus Points plugin will also work in Lightroom Classic CC (Ver 7.3) without any issues. Matter of fact the plugin should be part of the upgrade / migration process coming from an older version of Lightroom to Lightroom Classic CC. Go Show Focus Points Plugin
