Due to the strong and unpleasant South-Easter the last couple of weeks my own Birds in Flight photography took an unfortunate back seat. Since the start of the New Year I've managed two reasonable wind free mornings with a few Cape Town Birds in Flight photographers.
We had a very special display of a few fast and vocal Africa Black Oystercatchers birds roaming around all morning - up and down the Diep River adjacent the Milnerton Golf Course / Table Bay Nature Reserve. More of them here: African Black Oystercatcher Landing
Images with Canon EOS 7D Mark II / Canon EF 400mm f/5.6L USM lens. Manual Mode: f6.3 / ISO 640 - 3200 / 1/5000s / 10 fps / Handheld.
Objective: 1st 2017 shooting with my regular Woodbridge Island / Cape Town Birds in Flight photographer friends. Preparation for the February 2017 Birds in Flight Photography Workshop Cape Town
Location: Woodbridge Island / Cape Town
