I recently received a pre-owned Canon EOS 6D Mark II (Full-Frame DSLR) body and Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM (Mark I) lens from a private client for possible reselling in Milnerton (opposite Woodbridge Island).
Canon EOS 6D Mark II for Bird Photography - Vernon Chalmers Photography
My primary birds in flight camera is still the Canon EOS 7D Mark II / EF 400mm f/4.6L USM lens, but the Full Frame Canon EOS R6 Mark II (without the 1,6x Crop Factor), but increased 6 MP (from the EIS 6D) on sensor / 6.5 fps is definitely no slough and surprised me (with my 15 years of in-flight shooting experience at Woodbridge Island.

I expect the Canon EOS 6D Mark II (26.3 MP Full-Frame Sensor / Digic 7 Image Processor) to perform at a higher expectancy level (with its subtle, but important upgrades). I'm looking forward to apply the newer 45-Point All Cross-Type Autofocus System and 6.5 fps continuous Shooting Mode (offering a few more application / genre opportunities).
Client Reason for Selling:
Client is in the proses of migrating from the Canon EOS System to the Canon EOS R System (with Canon EOS R5, Canon EOS R6 and various Canon RF lenses including the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM lens).
