Motorsport / Panning Workshop - Planning Information
The objective of this post is to inform anybody interested in motorsport photography and mastering the panning technique that we are in the process of planning a photography workshop at Killarney, Cape Town for learning and practicing the photographing / panning of fast cars and motorcycles around the race track.

The Motorsport and Panning Workshop will be facilitated in conjunction with Steve Williams, experienced Canon photographer for Motorsport South Africa and Jacques Myburgh, experienced Nikon photographer and photography workshop facilitator.

The aim of the workshop is to provide the developing Canon and Nikon photographer with hands-on learning opportunities for mastering the challenges of photographing / panning fast race cars and motor cycles around the Killarney circuit with specific reference to:
  • Exposure settings
  • Focus tracking
  • Multiple exposures
