Ultra Wide-Angle Lenses: Crop vs Full Frame Focal Lengths

Ultra Wide-Angle Lenses: different focal lengths (comparing Crop and Full Frame focal lengths)

On my website I have made two posts from the same Woodbridge Island, Cape Town location for interested photographers looking at wide-angle lenses.

Please note: These posts are not about image quality comparisons, but rather focal length framing when using an APS-C / crop sensor camera and a full frame camera with more / less the same focal lengths.

Crop and full frame images captured on two different days.

Canon EF-S vs. EF Lens Compatibility
Canon EF-S lenses are not compatible with Canon Full Frame bodies and will only fit / work on Canon APS-C / crop sensor bodies (the little white dot on body and white square on lens). EF lenses are compatible will both Canon APS-C / Full Frame bodies (the little red dot on body and lens - crop bodies will have a red and a white dot to show compatibility with both EF and EF-S lenses).
