Primary location for birds in flight mastery along the Diep River estuary, focusing on high shutter speed tracking, wind awareness, and long-lens discipline (400–800mm).
- Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden: Primary location for specialised small bird and flower/macro photography training. Dedicated to botanical photography, focusing on complex light management, vertical layering, and capturing iridescent sunbirds within foliage. (24-500mm).
- Intaka Island (Century City): Alternative venue for bird and nature photography. Focuses on wetland bird photography, offering practical experience with water birds and birds in flight within bird hides. It is used for developing exposure discipline against reflective water and reed backgrounds. (100-800mm).

As part of my genre-specific photography training, I offer an introductory overview of post-processing workflows (if required) using Adobe Lightroom for processing CR2 / CR3 RAW files. This introductory module is tailored to each delegate’s JPG / RAW image requirements and provides a practical foundation for image refinement, image management, and creative expression - ensuring a seamless transition from capture to final output.
