Four images captured on 24 August 2019.
I've been tracking the Wooden Bridge Restoration Project since 2015 - more here and now in 2019 its all happening, they have almost reach the Otto Du Plessis Drive end after starting from the Milnerton Canoe Club / Golf Course end.
According to the City of Cape Town's website, the project should be completed during the second half of 2019:
The restoration of one of Cape Town’s oldest network links is currently underway in Milnerton. Work is currently underway on the 120-year historic wooden bridge which has been closed for several years now. As a provincial heritage site, and the only bridge of its kind left in the country, the City of Cape Town has undertaken its restoration which will be completed in the second half of 2019.
