More and more respected online 'rumour sources’ are publishing the possible launch / release of a Canon EOS R7 during Q4 2022.
2022 could therefore be the year that Canon APS-C (Crop) body owners get the highly anticipated EOS R 'upgrade option' for the Canon EOS 7D Mark II.
The Future of the Canon EOS 7D Mark III?
Since 2020 I have frequently mentioned the possibility of a Canon EOS R7 becoming the successor of the ever-green Canon EOS 7D Mark II.
Canon EOS R7 Launch / Release Date Probability
The original Canon EOS 7 D was released on 1 September 2009, it's successor, the Canon EOS 7D Mark II was released on 15 September 2014. The launch / release date of the Canon EOS R7 is speculated for launch / release between September - December 2022.
