New bird species at Woodbridge Island, Cape Town

Three new bird species photographed above the Diep River, Woodbridge Island

During the last two Birds in Flight Photography sessions I sighted and captured three new bird species (in flight) at Woodbridge Island, Cape Town

The swallow is a regular visitor around the island, but its the first time I've taken some time to capture them in flight.

I've never seen the Little bittern or Red-billed teal / duck here before and am delighted to see them around Woodbridge Island.

All images captured by Vernon Chalmers with Canon EOS 7D Mark II / EF 400mm f/5.6L lens.
